Occupational Therapy for Women & Mothers

Because how you feel, function and care for yourself matters.

Motherhood - and life - don’t come with a manual.

You don’t have to face it alone.

My mission is to support women through change — helping them reconnect with their unique bodies and roles, build meaningful routines, across all seasons of life.

Hi, I’m Hollie,

I’m a mum to three — two spirited daughters and one little one I carry in my heart. I’m also a Mental Health Endorsed Occupational Therapist, Yoga Teacher, and Circle of Security Parenting Facilitator. I support women and mothers through the often messy, meaningful transitions that shape our lives — menstruation, pregnancy, postpartum, parenting, motherhood, menopause, and the emotions that come with them: anxiety, depression, overwhelm, grief, illness, burnout, and the deep identity shifts in between.

My approach blends body-based (bottom-up) practices with trauma-informed (top-down) perspectives, grounded in the context of matrescence and neurobiological approaches. Alongside my own lived experiences of mothering, I weave clinical knowledge with compassion and attunement — creating space for your story, your values, and your needs.

As an Occupational Therapist, I offer a practical and holistic way of working that considers your everyday life — how you care for yourself, how your roles and routines are shifting, and what truly matters to you. Together, we make sense of what’s feeling hard, explore how your body and emotions are responding, and support you to reconnect with your sense of self.

You don’t have to fix everything or be anyone other than who you are right now. This is a place to pause, feel seen, and be supported — in your body, your relationships, and your daily life.

  • How you're meeting your physical and sensory needs — like nourishing meals, rest, movement, or healing after birth or illness. We might look at daily rhythms and routines to support your energy and well-being in a way that feels sustainable and gentle unique for your needs.

What we might explore together in a session:

  • How stress, mental load, or big emotions like overwhelm, grief, or anger are showing up in your body and mind. We can explore your nervous system responses and work with tools for sensory awareness/regulation, emotional regulation, self-awareness, and emotional expression.

  • The changes in how you see yourself — your roles, values, and the kind of mother, woman, or person you are becoming. We might reflect on matrescence, identity shifts, and what matters most to you right now and moving forward.

  • How your relationships are evolving — with your baby, partner, family, or others. We can look at shared moments like feeding, soothing, or play, and explore how to hold space for connection while honouring your own boundaries and needs.

  • Your relationship with your body, your sense of self, and your inner voice. This might include practices to reconnect with your body, cultivate self-trust, and find compassion in the midst of all that motherhood brings.
